Featured Product
Thinly sliced halal dried beef
Ingredients
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 325 ml lukewarm water
- 7 g dry yeast, 10 g salt, and 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 250 g strained tomato sauce without alcohol or unverified additives
- 250 g halal-certified mozzarella
- 120 g thinly sliced dried beef
- 1 roasted red pepper, cut into strips
- 60 g black olives and 50 g arugula
- Oregano and a little lemon juice
Preparation
-
Mix the water, yeast, and sugar. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil, then knead
for 8–10 minutes. Cover and leave to rise for 60–90 minutes, until doubled in
volume.
-
Preheat the oven with a pizza stone or an inverted baking tray inside for at
least 30 minutes at the highest temperature setting.
-
Divide the dough into two portions and stretch each one out by hand. Spread
with tomato sauce, then add mozzarella, roasted pepper, and olives.
-
Bake for 7–10 minutes, depending on the oven temperature, until the crust is
golden and the cheese has melted.
-
Immediately arrange the dried beef on the hot pizza after baking. Dress the
arugula with a few drops of lemon juice and a little olive oil, then add it
just before serving.
Tip
Add the dried beef after baking. Prolonged exposure to high heat can make it
tough and intensify its saltiness.
