Our products are created in an environment where nature plays an important role. The alternation of the Bura and Jugo winds, the specific winds of the Drnis microregion and the Dalmatian Hinterland, creates special conditions for salting, drying, and maturing meat. It is precisely this combination of natural conditions, local knowledge, and tradition that has given this area its recognizability and contributed to the protection of its cured meat heritage through the Protected Geographical Indication.
In the production process, we pay special attention to every detail. Our products are hand-salted with Pag salt, whose purity, grain size, proper crystal shape, and distinctive taste make an important contribution to the quality and recognizable character of our products. The tradition of Pag salt, which dates back to the 10th century, further confirms the value of the ingredients we choose.
We are guided by the belief that the simplest solution is often the best. Premium beef and sheep meat of controlled origin is hand-salted, then left to time, winds, and the smoke of local beechwood - just as it has been done in our region for centuries.
Modern production facilities allow us to ensure stability, safety, and increased capacity, but only where technology does not compromise what matters most: authentic taste, hand processing in key stages, and the character of traditional preparation. In this way, we combine the experience of past generations with the needs of today's market, creating products that preserve authenticity while meeting the high standards of modern B2B cooperation.
